For you Mac users, MUPromo is selling a bundle for two weeks. It’s less than $50 for 11 apps, not counting the two you get for free if you’re one of the first 15,000. This includes Parallels Desktop and Circus Ponies NoteBook and Paperless, among others. It’s definitely a steal if you would find yourself regularly using at least two apps in the bundle.
Personally, I’m still on the fence. The only app I can really vouch for is NoteBook — I got it a few months ago from MUPromo and I’ve found it extremely useful, but I don’t need another license. I don’t really have a need for any of the other apps, since I’d use VirtualBox for Windows and I’m not trying to fuck with Papi’s tried-and-true system of DVD ripping. Aside from that, while I don’t regret throwing down for MacHeist earlier this year, I haven’t really used any of the apps in the bundle since the first couple of weeks of owning them. They’re all nice to have, but I never really needed any of them.
Panic‘s sale also ends tomorrow. Still mulling over my need for Candybar or Coda, but I’ll probably pass this time around.
